Hi all, due to the increasing cost of insurance, and the risk of liability even with insurance, Jeepers for Vets will be taking an indefinite pause.
One of the challenges with insurance, is that three separate policies have to be purchased:
- Meetup location insurance.
- Convoy insurance.
- Dropoff location insurance.

We almost made it a full decade! And none of the events would have been successful without all of you that participated and helped out. Whether it was getting the word out via social media, donating draw prizes, putting up posters and setting up donation boxes at your work locations, providing a location for the meetups, helping out at the Field of Crosses setup, and most of all – every one of you that showed up to the events time and time again with donations; JfV wouldn’t have existed without you.
We’ll still be building up our personal food donation for drop-off at the Veterans Association Food Bank this December. Hopefully we’ll see some of you there.
